Leather Hanging Lamp is a portable, temporary illumination solution with an emphasis on aesthetics. Imagine waking up at midnight because of thirst, but you don't want to turn on the glaring lighting to wake your partner up. Then you can take this portable, soft and gentle illumination.
The lamp is covered by leather, and the heat from the light will warm the feeling while the user is holding it. The power is driven by batteries and is chargeable. While unused, the user can put it back on the holder, which is mounted on the wall, and the holder doubles as the charging station and is easily located by its soft glow when the lamp is removed. The leather surface will gradually develop a unique texture and color as the light is used and handled. 
Leather Hanging Lamp was awarded the 16th Acrylic Creative Competition as Gold Award in 2017.
